We are six days into January, and we have raised £370 out of the estimated £15000 needed to complete the projects.
I am planning to give away 24 Blackout Busters and 5 Internet connections.
Ian and Wendy Wright have kindly provided the finances for two Blackout Busters. One has already been given to a needy family, and the second will be built in the next couple of months.
Christine Foster and her family have sponsored a blackout buster, which was sent to Naivasha today. It will be installed during the week, and I look forward to updating Christine on the progress of the installation.
We have also connected two projects with the Internet
Turi Sulgwita Primary School & Turi Children Project.
I am testing equipment to connect Molo Street Children and Matiuami Rehabilitation Centre. We are still looking for people to support the monthly connection. Currently, for a 10 MB unlimited connection from Safaricom, we are looking at 4000KES per month per connection. Fortunately, both projects are within a good cellphone network, so we can use Safaricom services to help them.
Thanks for checking, and I look forward to updating you soon. If you would like to support
